Introduction and accepting the terms
Welcome to Dango Web Solutions, thank you for your interest in our services. Pronouns in this Agreement (Us, We, Our, Ours, etc.) as well as the acronym "DWS" and names "DangoWeb" and "Dango Web" refer to Dango Web Solutions, regardless of capitalization. This name is updated and is the most recent version. Any previous versions of our name may not be covered by this Agreement. Failure to follow this Agreement may result in account and/or service termination, or account and/or service use bans. If you choose not to agree with any policy in this Agreement, do not use our services and contact us to delete your data from our database, dashboard and panel.
Agreement updates
All policies on this page are subject to change. At the time of modification, their "Last Updated" date is updated. If a new policy is introduced or breaking changes have been added, we may post an announcement to our online communities and/or user emails. If the policy affects only customers, only existing customers - not all users - will receive emails. Any and all continued use after any changes implies acceptance of the up-to-date policies on this page.Forbidden actions
Forbidden actions such as hacking, crypto mining, server overloading, illegal use, server rate limiting, or any kind of action that can harm our customers and/or us are strictly forbidden. Starting or aiding in these actions will result in the same consequence. Reference the list included in our Hosting Policy. Contact us for a full list, or to inquire about if your use case conflicts without policies.
Age requirements
We welcome users of all ages, provided that we have consent from the user and/or from a parent or guardian if the user if under the age of 13. To set up educational access for students and users under the age of 13, please contact us.Payment gateways
Payment chargebacks by the user may result in termination of the user's server(s) or deletion of the user's account. We are happy to refund any payment according to our Refund Policy.
Downtime
Refunds are only available for paid customers with 7-day recorded verified server downtime or more. We will refund 100% of the time lost, according to your last payment. We will only refund the time lost, and we assume you are using your services the rest of the time in your payment period.
Liability
We do not provide liability for any losses.
Lost data
We are not responsible for any lost data, always make a backup. Remember to check your Trash Bin for recently deleted files if using our online File Manager. We make server backups every day, overriding the previous week's to save space. If you would like to request a backup, please contact us. We'll be more than happy to provide if we can. To request a backup, download, or restoration of your account within a week of a backup, visit your control panel's backup section.
Image licensing
Some images and icons used on all Dango Web Solutions websites and services are owned by Icons8, all rights to those images and icons belong to them. See their license at icons8.com/license. This page is required to be linked in the footer of all websites made by Dango Web Solutions, whether for ourself or our clients, except if they keep a version of the unaltered Agreement on their website and link to it. By viewing a website with this Agreement linked in the footer, you agree and acknowledge these terms from Icons8 and icon authors.Tax and VAT collection
Taxes are dependent on where Dango Web Solutions is established, New York USA, as well as where the customer is located. We do not add an additional tax on subscription services to customers. Taxes may be collected on all one-time services, commissions, invoices, payments, and transactions conducted by Dango Web Solutions. We may add tax or VAT to invoices as inclusive or as a line item. However, if the customer is from outside the USA, VAT may apply. If a VAT percentage is registered in the payment provider system, it may be shown at checkout. If VAT is applicable in your country after the transaction without added VAT, you may be charged for the additional VAT on your next purchase.Fee collection
Payment providers may require a fee to process a payment transaction or invoice. For subscription services, this fee is included in the final price at checkout. This fee may vary between payment providers and will be listed on the product page after user authentication. Invoices may have the fee added as a line item or generic invoice fee, allowing clients to see specific price origins.VAT collection notice to UK customers
We are currently in the process of registering for VAT collection in the UK. You may see an added charge for VAT on invoices, as well as double if you have not paid VAT on past purchases. Contact the HMRC office for more information about this policy in the UK.
Privacy Policy

Data collected
If you create an account through our services, we record and process any and all form fields including, but not limited to: full government name, email address, billing address, public IP address, phone number, password (securely hashed), and country of origin. In accordance to U.S. laws, we may process your card or bank account information through third-parties when authorizing a payment. If you authenticate with third-parties, we may have access to information through their systems. This may include account information provided by Discord user login (public name, username, email address), and Stripe or PayPal purchases (full government name, address, non-sensitive payment details, non-sensitive government identification records for fraud).
User data
User data is used to create an account, and allows you to fetch account data after creation. IP address is used for rate limiting your IP address for sending too many requests. We never share your data outside our services, providers, and third-parties. User approximate location (nearest major city) may be shown publicly on a globe to depict global coverage of the service. Sensitive user information will never be publicly displayed or tied directly to public records unless necessary.
User data storage
User data and DirectAdmin websites are currently being served in Salt Lake City, Utah USA.
User data use
We retain user data until account termination or host shutdown. We may use this information to contact you in the future regarding your account.
Privacy Policy changes
If our Privacy Policy has changed, you must agree with it within 1 day. Failure to do so may result in your account being suspended or deleted.
Data retrieval
Make a ticket via our Discord server, or contact us via email, and we will create a .zip file with all account information, including website files and DirectAdmin account configuration in the event you want to move to another host.
Data deletion
You can contact us with your username, email, and password, and we will attempt to erase all traces of your account and data on our servers. Data that you deleted permanently has been deleted permanently. If you would like to know how to recover data from the Trash Bin, create a ticket.
Environmental impact
We are environmentally friendly. We are committed to donating 1.5% of our total profits to environmental groups working to help reduce carbon emissions and remove excessive carbon from our air. Click to learn more about our CO₂ impact.

Refund Policy

Refundable services
Most Web Hosting, Bot Hosting, Email Hosting, and Reseller Hosting services can be refunded on request based on the amount of space you have already used for the current billing period, if not within the full refund (minus transaction fees) window of 7 days of activation.
Estimated refund window
Requests made outside of Stripe must be made within 7 days of activation. You will get refunded within 1 week, unless we experience technical difficulties.Refund amount
You may be refunded account credit if the transaction was made with the Stripe payment provider. If the transaction was not made with the Stripe payment provider, or if the refund was requested and the final refund amount after fees is over $5, you may be refunded the amount to the payment source. This will be handled by the payment provider associated with the original transaction. The refund amount may be less due to applicable transaction fees, if any. Fees are reliant on payment method. We will not charge any fees additional to payment transaction fees.Service use
We do not offer refunds for people that do not know how to use the service they paid for. You should learn how to use it or contact support to learn how to use your service. Our documentation and communities are great ways to learn how to get started.
Subscription prorating
Only subscriptions eligible for proration may be prorated. If your transaction was made through our Stripe payment provider, see section 7 on how to cancel your subscription for immediate proration to your account.Subscription modifications
Exchanges, downgrades, and upgrades to an existing eligible subscription may be possible. Typically only monthly or yearly subscriptions made through payment processor Stripe are eligible for modification. You will be charged more or credited based on your choice of plan upgrade or downgrade.Subscription cancellation
If you cancelled your service through our Payments portal, you should automatically receive a prorated credit on your account for future use at Dango Web Solutions. This credit may not be transferrable. We may ask for a reason for the cancellation during the process.
Source Code Policy

- Closed source
All code that has or is managed by Dango Web Solutions is Closed Source, unless otherwise noted in their LICENSE.md file. This means that nobody can duplicate or edit any code without direct permission from Trusted Staff on our Discord server. This policy applies to all code, including public code on GitHub. If a repository under our organization has no LICENSE.md visible in the main directory, assume it is Closed Source.
- Code holding
If you obtain a copy of our closed source code, we have the right to file a DMCA takedown claim with our code host and your provider (eg. GitHub, Vercel) or file a claim with your domain provider for legal issues.

- General information
All services provided by Dango Web Solutions may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States federal, state or city law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber/customer/user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Dango Web Solutions from any claims resulting from the use of service which damages the subscriber or any other party. Prohibited are sites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to Dango Web Solutions’ servers, or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.
- Website content
As long as the users content does not break any religious contents or causes harm to any specific race, creed or gender, it will be allowed to exist on the users website. The user is responsible for any and all content they place on their website, or transfer by any other means using hardware and or bandwidth belonging to Dango Web Solutions. Dango Web Solutions reserves the right to remove any page and/or content at any time without notice. The user agrees not to host any unauthorized copyrighted material such as music, movies, photographs without prior permission or which would break copyright law. Examples of unacceptable material on a users hosting account, but not limited to the following. Contact us for a full list.

- Unsolicited Electronic Mail (Email Spam)
Users are expressly prohibited from sending unsolicited bulk mail messages (junk mail/spam). This includes, but is not limited to, bulk-mailing of commercial advertising, information announcements, and political tracts. Such material may only be sent to those who have specifically requested it. Malicious or threatening email is also prohibited. We reserve the right to immediately deactivate your use of our service if we discover such activity. Further, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim resulting from your use or distribution of electronic mail services through the service provided through these terms of service.
- Unlimited limits
“Unlimited/Restricted/Bottomless Storage” doesn’t mean you can host large files on our servers. Web Hosting is made for hosting websites, blogs and forums - not large websites with large sizes. Whereas we are aware the service says unlimited, this doesn’t mean you can use a lot of storage for your website as hosting is shared.
- Refusal of service
Dango Web Solutions reserves the right to refuse or cancel services at its sole discretion. Failure to follow any terms or conditions established by us may result in the immediate termination and forfeiture of any refund agreements. This includes, but is not limited to abuse of our staff (foul or derogatory comments) and/or our network.
Commission Policy

- Commissions
Website, app, bot, and similar commissions will be accepted by us only if there is at least 1 website developer on our team and the team member is active and the team member has enough experience to complete the project and the team member consents to complete the project. The type of commission must be publicly available through our website or other advertisement.
- Cancellations by developer
The developer working on a project may cancel their work and null any code sent to the customer at any time, whether the ticket is open, in progress, on hold, awaiting payment, completed, or closed. The developer is not required to establish a reason for project cancellation. Developers may, instead of canceling a project, open the project to other developers on our team however that is their choice. If a developer adds a requirement, such as credit to the developer or to Dango Web Solutions, this must remain in the code. If it is removed at any time, the developer may consider the work null and have the option to start a legal claim (DMCA) against the work, even if it is put back in place. The legal claim will be issued to the work owner(s) and/or work hoster(s), such as hosting companies, platforms, providers, or registrars.
- Cancellations by customer
Customers have a basic right to cancel commissions from us. The project must have not been worked on for over 2 hours (if so, the necessary payment must be made to satisfy work for the amount of hours), must not be completed or awaiting payment, and must not have had any files sent to the customer before cancellation.
- Commission work split
Developers may split their work for a project between themselves, with many developers working together to complete one project faster than one developer alone. Your commission files will be shared amongst these developers. On payment received, the developers working on the project may choose to split the payment however way they want, by default by percentage worked on the project.
- Commission files
Commissions files are stored on GitHub and are not public, not Open Source, not used for AI training, or anything similar. Code may be downloaded by developers on their local machine to work on the project or to view the commission project at any time.
- Commission refunds
We offer payments after the commission is completed. If you choose to pay beforehand and chose to request a refund and have satisfied all cancellation terms noted above, the refund will be issued.
- External contributors
If an external contributor (entity outside Dango Web Solutions) modifies any character or file of the commission, it is considered completed, final, non-refundable, and no longer under us. While the item remains our commission, we will not offer support for the commission, we will not offer future updates for the commission, we will not offer free services for the commission, etc.
Artificial Intelligence Policy

Artificial intelligence, "Generative A.I.", is permitted on our host strictly for user content creation and modification only.AI-generated websites
Websites that mainly display AI-written or AI-generated content, such as blog articles or videos generated by AI, are not permitted on our host.Models
Artificial intelligence models are not permitted to run on our shared hosting servers, regardless of scale. Dedicated server options should be considered instead.
